This channel follows the set up and progress of the Hangover, a 72 litre natural fresh water aquascape.

The tank project began in 2019 and is a no fertiliser, no Carbon Dioxide low tech aquarium.

The ONF Flat One 60 light is high intensity and only runs for two short photoperiods each day

60mins in the morning at 25% 5000K then 45 mins 100% at 6500K.

Then off for the day and in the afternoon 90 mins 100% 6500K and then 45 mins 65% 5100K then lights out.

The water for this tank is rainwater collected from the roof of our house and stored in a concrete reservoir under it.

The idea behind this channel is to be sustainable, to not need to get bigger or better or upgrade, but just to live and also to be mindful. Having a fishtank is the ability to look at the same thing every day, but to actually pay attention and really see the detail and notice what you are seeing.
