The Glitch Productions Mr Puzzles Situation Is Concerning

Recently there’s been a situation involving glitch productions, zamination, and accusations of plagiarism regarding their mr puzzles character. What’s going on? Let me explain. So last december glitch ended their smg4 series and a week ago zamination revealed that they’re teaming up with glitch to give their mr puzzles character his own indie show thats named calling all villains. On march 27th webcomic artist modmad put up a post on tumblr detailing how they’ve been receiving harassment for a while because their character called rgb from their book The Property of Hate is similar to mr puzzles. This is in spite of rgb pre existing mr puzzles by a decade. In a post they detail that they spent £4000 with a lawyer to send an email to smg4 management which was ignored. They spent 2 years trying to resolve it. They made the decision to put their comic on hiatus over it. In one post people compare the design similarities between puzzles and rgb. Things like a similar outfit and color scheme, same knob placement on the tv, color bars with a drooling effect among other similarities. There’s also various posts going back a few years of fans even noticing how similar the characters are. Glitch did have a similar situation a few weeks ago with knights of guinevere and it was resolved, so the same thing could happen again here. So what do you think? Did you know about this situation?
