Dawei Watch Media was founded in 2013 to raise the voices of Taninthayi people, to lessen the disadvantages caused by the lack of expressions from the grassroots’ levels and to provide the required information to the readers.Dawei Watch Media is based in Dawei Township and it is publishing Tanintharyi Weekly Journal reporting news and articles about the activities going in Tanintharyi Region. Moreover, Dawei Watch News Agency is providing news for the local media companies as a part of its business scope. The first issue of Tanintharyi Weekly was first published in 2013 June. It was regularly published every week.
