Rainbow Gummy Fruit Cake For Dogs 🌈 Easy DIY Dog Treats

What was your favorite dog treat video memory with Memphis, or your favorite dog treat video that Memphis was in? It's time for another DIY Dog treat! Making Dog Treats at home is fun and easy to do! This is officially our first treat video without Miss Memphis. But look, we have a bunch of flowers that people sent us that I thought I would just leave over here so we could enjoy them. It still feels weird that we're making a treat. You know, rainbow bridge, rainbow jello... I don't know, I thought it was fitting for our return to making treats. The last treat I made before this was Memphis's birthday cake. I also want to give a real quick thank you to everybody who has left amazing messages with the loss of Memphis. It means so much to us. You guys are amazing. Today we are going to attempt to make a rainbow jello fruit cake for the girls! Is it going to work? I have no idea. The dogs are very distracted by the flowers, but we are layering five vibrant colors using dog safe fruits and plain gelatin. We've got red raspberries, orange peaches, green apples, blue blueberries, and purple blackberries. This is a very time-consuming recipe because each layer has to set in the fridge before adding the next one, but the final product turned out so cool! Look at the slices, oh my goodness, it's so cute. Kira and Eleanor are such texture dogs, and they definitely made a giant mess on my carpet, but they loved it. Remember, this is a treat, not a meal replacement, so please feed your pets responsibly! INGREDIENTS FOR RAINBOW JELLO CAKE For each layer, you will need: 1 cup cold water 1 cup warm water 4 packets plain unflavored gelatin 1 drop dog safe food coloring (optional) Raspberries (for the red layer) Peaches (for the orange layer) Apples, chopped (for the green layer) Blueberries (for the blue layer) Blackberries, chopped (for the purple layer) Coconut oil spray (to coat the mold) HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR DAY 🌸 Showing off the beautiful flowers our amazing community sent us in honor of Memphis. 🍓 Testing out fresh raspberries with Kira and Eleanor before starting the first layer. 🍑 Introducing the girls to peaches to see what they think of the texture. 🍏 Cutting up crunchy apples for our bright green layer. 🫐 Eleanor trying her best to drink the blue gelatin mixture before it sets. 🍇 Kira getting purple blackberry juice all over her chin. 🎂 Flipping the final jello cake out of the mold and seeing the perfect rainbow slices. 🧼 Cleaning up the massive, delicious mess the girls made on the living room carpet.
