Hi, I am Can Kept!

Since 2018 I am the captain of my own boat, Haskap (2012 Bavaria 45), my traveling companion, often even my home!

I lived in Canada for a long time, traveled many countries, and my passion for sailing started with a cruise from Panama to Colombia. After a year of training back in Turkey, I bought my first boat in 2018 and my life changed. I want to share my memories, routes and experiences with you through this channel.

My most important learning is that I gain completely different experiences every time I sail! The sea and the wind are the perfect combination that tells you that life is full of sunny and windy moments and that sometimes you should go with the flow and sometimes you should take control!

One day I want to sail around the world with Haskap and have my boat and my name engraved under the statue of Sadun and Oda Boro in Kalamış, so stay tuned!
