I'm a birdwatcher & wildlife guide making short videos of the wildlife in my local area of Ramsgate, Thanet.

I don't use any special equipment as I can't really justify the expense or fancy the idea of carrying heavy equipment around on my walks. I use Canon SX bridge cameras. I currently use an SX70. For close up shots I use a Raynox DCR-250 macro lens attachment.

I appeared on BBC Springwatch 2014 talking about the Ramsgate Parakeets & some of my video footage was used. I also helped wildlife cameraman Richard Taylor-Jones film a coastal Kingfisher & other wildlife for BBC Winterwatch 2015. In 2017 The BBC One Show produced a small film by Richard Taylor-Jones on the Ramsgate coastal Kingfishers in Winter featuring myself and some of my Kingfisher footage. In the Spring I also helped with the filming of Wildlife on the Edge. A short film by Richard for BBC Springwatch. In 2018 my footage of 2 Kingfisher fighting in Ramsgate Harbour featured in the finale of BBC Winterwatch.
