LIPEDEMA Leg Surgery Part 2: Back in Madrid

This is my second lipedema surgery video, and I’m sharing it the same way I shared the first — real, unfiltered, and without trying to make it look perfect. This is surgery 2 of 3 on my legs. Last time we tackled my lower legs and removed 6.4L. This time it’s my upper legs — my thighs — the area that has held the most pain for me over the years. The part of my body that’s carried the most trauma, the most shame, and the most “why don’t they look like everyone else?” moments. So yes… this one is physical, but it’s also deeply emotional. After being diagnosed with Stage 3 lipedema at 41, I started this journey because I was done living in pain and heaviness — and I was done blaming myself for something I didn’t cause. For decades I was dismissed and told to “just lose weight.” I believed it. I hid. I thought I was failing. But the truth is — I was living with a chronic, progressive disease, and so many women are still doing the same thing in silence. In this video, you’ll come with me through the next stage of surgery and recovery — the highs, the lows, the uncomfortable parts, and the small wins that don’t get shown enough. I also included a goodbye photoshoot in Madrid (more emotional than I expected), and a heartfelt moment for my fellow lippy sister Ruth, because this journey isn’t just physical — it’s personal. And sometimes it helps so much just knowing someone else understands. Lipedema isn’t about vanity. It’s pain, swelling, mobility issues, and emotional scars that run deep. And surgery isn’t cosmetic — it’s a fight for mobility, dignity, and a life that feels like yours again. If you haven’t seen PART 1 - WATCH IT HERE: https://youtu.be/14Ak_wpw60o I’m endlessly grateful to Dr. Burgos and the Lipemedical team https://www.instagram.com/drburgosdelaobra_lipedema/ for giving me more than just new legs - they gave me my life back. Disclaimer: While Lipemedical paid for advertising to promote their clinic, everything shared in this documentary is entirely my honest experience. I was free to document this journey with complete honesty — the good, the tough, and the real moments.
