I lost my Soul Dog, and then I met Him 🥹

I sat down with this boy on the anniversary of losing my soul dog, Flip. I came to comfort him. Instead, he comforted me. He was abandoned, his story broke my heart. By the time I met this shelter dog, he was nervous and labeled "no play, defensive." But the second I sat down, he did something I almost never see. He leaned in. He chose to trust again. And on one of the hardest days of my year, he was the one taking care of me. His name is Chip. It rhymes with Flip. You can't make this stuff up. Chip is waiting at San Jacinto / Riverside County Animal Services, and he's available for adoption right now. He's on the shelter's Most Vulnerable Pets list.
