Indigenous Tech Saves Thousands of High-Risk Newborns in India

Long travel hours, inordinate amounts of money, and the impending risk of losing their child -- lakhs of Indian families are plagued with the stuggles of dealing with lack of access to timely healthcare. Co-founder of Nemocare Manoj Sanker saw his parents go through a similar trial when their second son was born premature. So years later, when 32-year-old Manoj had to think of a startup idea in healthcare, neonatal care was his first choice. Today, the startup has saved 20,000 high-risk newborns.
